1. CTRL + C (to copy the number)
2. Move to the cell you wish to copy it to.
3. ALT+E, then S
4. Select 'Values' and click 'OK'

Del Key on Mac
Call me slow, but I've only just found out how to use the missing 'del' key on a Mac keyboard.
The shortcut is: fn button + delete.
