Sharing a folder on a network mapped drive in Windows XP or 2000

As far as I tried, sharing a folder on a network mapped drive in Windows XP or 2000 is pretty much not possible.

The closest I got was this tool called Winbolic which allows a user to create linux like symbolic links... but it won't work in Windows XP or Windows Server 2000 on mapped network drives.

Or creating a junction point by using a tool called linkd.exe from the Windows resource kit. Which also won't work.

There's a tool that does that easily called Junction Link Magic. Although that won't work for those mentioned OS.

Of course, if anyone knows otherwise I'm all ears (eyes?).

To Remote Restart a Windows 2003 Server Machine

Sometimes for whatever reason it may be (the server exceeded the maximum number of connections due to not logging off properly, etc etc) you might need to do a remote restart of a machine.

To achieve this. The following two steps can be taken:

1. Set the admin password for the current machine you are on to be the same as the machine that you wish to shutdown.

2. Open a command prompt and type 'shutdown -i' you should then be given a graphical user interface to restart any server you wish to. The rest is pretty much self explanatory.
