So I've been using a Mac for a few months now and am pretty much acting like the slowest kid in the class on the first day of school when it comes to using it.
One thing I am kinda bugged by is how everyone suggests using Photoshop for even the simplest of stuff... such as quickly resizing pictures (You know... 6mb pictures of kittens that your grandma sends you directly from her digital camera). I tried all sorts of 3rd party apps but each one of them came with their problems.
Then today I realized one simple thing.
Just open the picture in Preview and click on Tools-> Adjust Size.
Et Voila.
Programming solutions, source code, solutions to tech problems and other tech related stuff.

Total Commander/Midnight Commander for Mac
So there comes a time in life when you need Total Commander, Midnight commander or any of the norton commander clones out there, but you're using a Mac and there's no such thing. That's what happened to me today.
So, later I realized that Total Commander is just a clone of Midnight Commander, which is a clone of Norton Commander (or whatever order of cloning may have taken place).
But then...
I found muCommander. Which has a build for Mac OS X. Woohoo!
Download it at http://www.mucommander.com/

However, it does install an annoying Softonic toolbar into your Safari browser. Which can be removed by left clicking on the toolbar and then selecting 'Settings' and look for the 'Uninstall toolbar' button on the settings page.
